hahaha no it won’t explode. it’s just super easy to break glass pieces when you’re using metal because glass is much less pliable than metal is. even if you think you’re being really careful it’s really easy to fuck your shit up.

honestly i don’t think there has been that much legitimate research done about that. it’s pretty common to use tinfoil for hookah though so i’m sure it can’t be THAT bad. it just feels nicer to use something organic
